The Sportsman
The Sportsman is our narrow, lively feeling longboard. By definition a narrow-templated longboard will be more sensitive from rail-to-rail, so we compensated for this by making the board and rails extra thick. (Less likely to bury a rail on a turn this way) We also added a touch more tail rocker, to help assist the turning. A Sportsman is, on average, about 1.5" narrower than a Lumberjack of the same length, but has the same overall volume. This is actually more similar to boards from the 60's, that tended to be narrower and had fuller rails than modern-day "classic" longboards.
